Valentines Day

Because Danny and I had our date night last night. Today was very relaxed. He had bought me a card and from the girls and from him and metal spatula and these pinch bowls I had wanted. I am so lame I made his gift in M.O.P.S on Friday (chocolate covered pretzels and a home made card) And I still haven't given it to him because it is in the back of the car. So he will get it tomorrow am.
I had bought the girls a little box of chocolates. Atley's were tinker belle and Tulip's Sponge Bob. They loved them.

Then we got ready and went to church. After church went to Costco so I could pick up my new glasses. And our big thing of the day is we went out to Lunch with Kacey and the kids to Apple Bees. (another gift card from my dad:)) I am not a big fan of the service at Apple Bees it seems to me that everyone that works there is pissed off. But it was fun to have a lunch together.

(Didn't have a pic of Rylee:()

After lunch we went the Library. I wanted to get books for our trip and the girls love to play in the kids area.

We came home had nap time. After nap time we had family Game night. The girls I think were still a little tired because Atley freaked out when she didn't win. You would have thought she lost the Super bowl and then Tulip freaked out when She didn't win. I was starting think this Carter Cup might be a bad idea, but they need to learn that they won't always win. So after a few talks about losing gracefully Tulip shook Atley's hand and said "good job" But we had to take the cup from her.

Tulip winning
Atley losing

After the girls were done Danny and I had to to play a quick game and I killed him:)

It was a very nice Sunday with the family and a Great Valentines Day weekend.

Valentines Day Eve...

At Sylvan Way Church they were having Valentines dinner with Child Care:) It only cost $30 a couple. They girls got to play with other kids and have home made mac-n-cheese. With dirt and worms for dessert. We had more elegant dinner of spring salad, baked chicken, green beans, corn, and roll. For our dessert I had chocolate covered strawberries. My favorite:) They had decorated the Gym to look so nice. There were lights everywhere. The theme was called "a night under the stars" We had a very nicely decorated table and we got to see some skits and the pastor preached about love. It was such a great night. I told Danny that this felt like a grown up date. Cindy and John came with us. John had to work that day so he was very tired and I don't think that he had as much fun as Cindy, Danny and I did. But it was really nice to have friends with us. Seating at a table with 3 other couples would have been a little awkward. I can't wait to go again next year. Cindy wants to decorate one of the tables next year so that would be fun.

Danny and I played a couple of games of tic-tac-toe with the table decorations. The first game was cat and the second I won:

Danny and I asked Stina to come down and watch the girls so we could see Valentines Day. (We got to use the Gift card Dad got us for Christmas.) She is so sweet that she came down.

Danny and I had such a great date night it was the best Valentines Day that we had in a long time. Words can't describe how much fun it was.

Another Busy Saturday....

Friday night Tulip woke about around 12:30 saying her ear hurt. I gave her loves and tried to put her back in her bed, but she started to cry saying that it still hurt. Danny didn't want her in our bed so I waited until he fell asleep and we went back in our bed. Lucky he had a few drinks so he was out. Tulip and I were awake in my bed until about 2. Tulip is a very strong girl and never complains about anything hurting so I knew she had an ear infection. But I didn't know if I should take her in now or wait till morning. So we prayed for her ear and she finally fell asleep. We woke and Tulip said "Jesus fixed my ear!!!" It was so cute!!!!!

I have a little tool that you can look into your kids ears with and it has a light and the end of it. It took me awhile to figure out what I was looking at because I never had to use it before. But her one ear was really red.

We planning on going to the Lowe's Building workshop this am and Tulip seemed fine. No fever not acting sick. So we went to Lowe's. It was so funny because Tulip or Atley didn't want me to help them with their craft because they say "mommy always messes up!!!" So Tulip got stuck with me because she was with Daddy last. I promised her that I would read all the directions before we started so I wouldn't mess up.

They made Jewelery organizer. Tulip's turned out just as good as Atley's.

After Lowe's we went to the prompt care. They said that we should only have to wait about 45 mins and we were there for about hour in half. Tulip wasn't acting sick at all. She was talking to EVERYONE. So it was nice to get to know everyone in the waiting room.

While we were there Danny took Atley Mc Donalds to play and have lunch. Tulip was really bummed that she didn't go. Kacey met Danny there and played for a few minutes, but it was really crazy.

The Dr. came in and we saw him for about 5 mins. enough time to look into her ear and say that it was infected and send a script to Target.

Tulip was so excited to get medicine. She never has had anything so she was felt very special that she gets to take it 3 times a day.

I scored at Target with $10 gift card with a new prescription. The lady is so nice that works in the pharmacy I ask her for one every time I go. We are very lucky because we pay $1.40 for the medicine and then get a $10 gift card. You have to love insurance:)

So after target we went to Tulip's game. Danny and Atley were pooped so they went home and took naps, while Tulip and I went to cheer. (I can't wait we only have 2 games left:)) My mom and Angela came which was nice to visit with them during the game. It was also nice to not have to worry about Atley.

That was our busy Saturday.

Friday night with the Burnette's...

Friday night we had Melinda, Ben and there two kids Evan and Lilly come over for dinner. It was a very nice evening. I put the lasagna in around 3 because it takes 2 hours to cook and I wanted it be ready on the table when they arrived at 5:30. So Danny got home at 4:30 and asked me If I was going to start cooking and I said it is all ready in the oven. He was like the oven isn't on. So I had it in the oven for an hour not cooking:( We ate about an hour later, but it worked out fine. We had lasagna, caesar salad and garlic cheese bread. For dessert for the kids Tulip shared her Valentines Day Candy that she got at school.

Tulip, Atley and Evan played so nice together. Their favorite thing was to chase each other around the house:)

The girls loved Lilly too. She is only 4 months and is the sweetest thing. They wanted to take turns holding her and I was so stressed and Melinda was so laid back. I thought they were going to break her. I was lucky and got to change her diaper and hold her for a little while. She wasn't big fan of me she cried the whole time. The only time that she would stop was when she was watching t.v. But Danny was starting a movie for the older kids so the screen would turn black and she would start screaming. It was really funny.

We had a great visit and the older kids played so nice together. I hope we do it again soon.

If life was a musical...

Friday am the girls were in such a great mood that they just wanted to sing. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Here is a viedo.

Oh Atley...

Atley cracks me up:) She is such a free spirit. The other day she was playing with her teddy and a piece of paper that we got at some store. The way she was talking to teddy was so funny!!! She just played with that piece of paper and teddy for about 30 mins. Here is what I got on Video.

Create a plate....

The girls school does a craft every year where they get to bring home a circle piece of paper and draw on it. They turn it in and a few weeks later they will get a plate with their art work on it.

Danny has plates that he made from when he was 20 months old- 17. We took them out and showed them to the girls all of Daddy's plates. They thought it was so cool that he had so many. So after we look through all of his plates the girls started decorating theirs. Tulip really wanted to make one just like Daddy's:) It was a fun Monday night doing a family art project.

Swish, Swish, Swish

Tulip is doing really well with cheer. I am very proud of her. Before the game they announce the cheerleaders and basketball players and they get to run out a tunnel. (Tulip's favorite part:)) Atley usually just holds my hand when we run out, but today she lined up and ran out. It was the cutest thing ever!!!! I wish I would have been able to get a pic of it.
Here is some videos of her cheering today. She is a little late on her moves, but she looks really cute:)

The line up before the Tunnel.

Sisterly love...

Atley fell of forward after this pic was taken. If I wasn't there to catch her she would have hit her head.

Atley trying to be a Cheerleader.

Tulip loves to pose for photos.

Not what we planned...

This am Home Depot was having their building workshop. It starts at 9 and goes till 12. Tulip had cheer at 12 so we went at 11. When we got there they were all out of their car-garage kits, So the girls got to decorate a tile. I was happy by this because trying to make two, car garages with nails and hammers with two little girls is a lot of work to do by myself. (Danny had to work again today. He has been working 6 days a week for the last month). So it was really relaxing to have the girls just color. They loved it too

I don't know why Tulip has her scarf on her head, but I think she wants to be Amish.

Atley's drawing is how she was feeling this am. Tulip's is a self-portrait.

Mom's Last Chemo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is Mom's last day of Chemo!!!! We always start off chemo with a gift. Today I did a video of her opening her present so you all could hear the wonderful card that I gave her. I gave her plaque that says "The very things that held you down are going to CARRY you up. Dumbo"I bought this plaque at Hallmark they have a whole section of quotes from Disney characters.

Mom looks so small in this pic. I said that it looked like I was going to eat her. So we had to take a pic. of me trying to eat her little bald head:)
I think this is a great pic of my Grandma and mom. They are so cute:)

After Chemo we are going to pic up Angela from school so we can go out to lunch to the Olive Garden to Celebrate!!!!

My Aunt Cheri joined us for lunch. It was a great afternoon. I think mom was really tired, but she hung in there.
